This is the complete raw, unedited High-Definition video that I shot for KTAB/KRBC news of a two-alarm house fire at 625 Jeanette Street early Wednesday morning. There are several "beauty shots" of AFD firefighters and apparatus at work....All of the video was shot with my JVC GY-HM700 ProHD camcorder in 720/60p SP mode. Here's the official press release from the Abilene Fire Department: Shortly before 2AM this morning, Abilene Fire Department crews responded to the call of a structure fire in the 600 block of Jeanette. Initial callers reported hearing explosions and seeing flames coming from the structure. Firefighters arrived to discover heavy smoke and flames issuing from the rear of a large two-story house. Due to the size and location of the fire a 2nd alarm was initiated. Several out buildings and another residential structure to the North of the original fire structure were also damaged by fire. Fire crews made an exterior attack after doing a quick search and ascertaining that the house was vacant. It took firefighters just over an hour to bring the flames under control. Fire investigators are on scene and searching for the cause of the fire at this hour but may not have a determination for some time. At this time crews are still on the scene extinguishing hot spots and assisting with the fire investigation. In all 10 units and thirty-three firefighters battled the blaze. UPDATE At this time the structure fire at 625 Jeanette has been ruled as suspicious in nature ...
