Resolved Question: Has a tornado ever hit Abilene Texas?

I live in Abilene Texas and was wondering if a tornado has ever hit Abilene or the area surrounding it. I had wondered about this for a few years, ever since i saw a funnel cloud very low to the ground near my church. My cousin has seen one almost touch down in the baseball park near his house, go back up and come back down over his neighbors roof but go back up again before touching. I think it was from the same storm that produced the funnel cloud i saw. It has been a few years so i can't really remember but i know they were both in the same summer, i think it was during that bad tornado outbreak a few years back.
